Swords into ploughshares

Yesterday, my train went though Market Harborough (UK) and I saw a field full of old Bedford trucks, in camouflage colours.

I wondered where they were going. Many end up here in Guyana, where they service the gold mining industry. The miners don’t even bother painting them, and so they still carry the livery of the Yorkshire Yeomanry, or whataever it is. This truck (which I saw in Bartica) has a long hard journey ahead of it, ferrying fuel into the jungle.
