Guyanese United and The Taste of the Caribbean are sponsoring a candlelight vigil in memoriam of the victims of the School Dormitory fire in Mahdia, Guyana.
The event will take place on Saturday May 27, 2023
- Location: Taste of the Caribbean 505 Hampton Park Blvd, Capitol Heights, MD 20743
- Gathering – 7:00 pm.
- Remarks – 7:30 pm,
- Candle lighting and short vigil – 8:00 pm.
We recognize that this is a difficult time for everyone, and we hope that this event will bring some comfort to those affected by this tragedy.
We kindly ask for your support and donations, as 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the families of the victims. We believe that together we can make a difference and help those who have been affected by this tragedy.
