This aircraft was one of two DHC-4A Caribous along with an aircraft hangar, two Twin Otters (DHC-6) gifts from CIDA (Canadian International Development Agency) to the people of Guyana.
International Aviation Ltd was hired to ferry the aircraft from Guyana St. Jean, Quebec, Canada. The aircraft crashed 48 miles SW of Bridgetown, Barbados on June 14, 1981. The aircraft or crew were never recovered.
