The Greek authorities with information from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Authority concerning a shipment of destined for Athens engaged their surveillance mechanisms identified a Greek athlete as the recipient of the shipment and the Guyanese as the transfer agent and member of a Dutch cartel.
Greek law enforcement is seeking acquaintances of the local Greek citizen and have contacted the Dutch and Guyanese authorities to flush out other members of the international drug running operation.
